The surgeons at our practice will customize your rhinoplasty surgery based on your needs and goals. The procedure is typically performed using general anesthesia. The exact details will depend on your treatment plan, but typically the surgeon will:
Make incisions inside the nostrils or along the base of the nose (columella)
Remove or reshape cartilage and bone as needed
Adjust the shape and size of the nose
Close the incisions with sutures
The procedure usually takes no more than a couple of hours, and patients return home the same day.

Improved self-confidence and self-esteem
Enhanced facial harmony and balance
Improved breathing and nasal function
Correction of structural abnormalities or defects
More symmetrical and proportional nose
"I felt insecure about my nose shape. I researched various surgeons in the Austin area and decided to contact Synergy Plastic Surgeon in 2017. I met with Dr. Blagg and Janis and felt very comfortable. They are both so friendly, warm and, most importantly, very knowledgeable. Dr. Blagg listened to my concerns and really got what I wanted to achieve. Dr. Blagg gave me a great nose!! I love it so much, and the best part is that no one at work or even friends/relatives noticed a thing. It's still me but with a better nose."

"Dr. White is amazing. She's fun, personable, and above all else- a FANTASTIC, honest doctor. As much as she laughs when I say she's a LIFE SAVER, she totally is! I feel comfortable and confident with myself, which is something I haven't been able to say in a very long time. I thank her for her care and expertise. Thank you to the amazing staff and nurses as well. Everyone is SO wonderful at this facility!!"

The cost of rhinoplasty in the Austin, Texas, area varies with the complexity of the surgery. However, the procedure typically ranges between $11,000 to $13,000.
Few plastic surgery practices offer the range and depth of experience our surgeons possess. Each surgeon's unique talents and personalized approach to patient care create an environment where you can be sure to get expert treatment and excellent results. Our reputation for integrity and professionalism is second to none.
Patients typically experience swelling and bruising the first few days after surgery, but this generally begins to subside after about 3 days. Keeping your head elevated as much as possible can help minimize these symptoms and speed up healing. At your follow-up appointment a week later, your doctor will remove your sutures and dressings and check your progress.
Most patients are comfortable returning to work or school 7 to 10 days following nose job surgery, but strenuous activities should be avoided for about a month.
Scarring will depend on the specific techniques used during your nose job procedure. Some incisions are made inside the nostrils and are not visible from the outside. In other cases, the incision may be made in the base of the nose or across the columella (the tissue between the nostrils) and may result in a fine, barely noticeable scar. With proper care and healing, any scars should be minimal and fade over time.
The initial results will be noticeable once the dressings are removed, but it is important to remember that the nose will continue to change and heal over the next several months. While most swelling and bruising will subside within 2 to 4 weeks, it can take up to a year for the final results of the surgery to be visible.
