Meet Dr. White

Dr. Aisha White is a board-certified plastic surgeon living in Austin, Texas, who has extensive training and experience in plastic surgery. She was drawn to a career in plastic surgery because she saw firsthand how it could transform not only people’s bodies but also their self-esteem. She has always had a strong interest in women’s health and spends much of her time in and out of her medical practice engaged in activities that empower women and young girls.

Rigorous Training in the U.S. and Abroad

After graduating from Howard University, Dr. White spent a year abroad in Limoges, France, doing research. She then moved to Chicago to begin her medical studies at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. While in medical school, Dr. White took a leave of absence to obtain a Master of Business Administration at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. After completing her medical degree, Dr. White completed a 5-year full general surgery residency at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn. She then returned to Chicago to complete a plastic surgery residency at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Professional Accomplishments

Dr. White’s lifelong commitment to learning and excellence didn’t end when she completed her education and training. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She is also part of the faculty at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas, where she is a member of the Leadership Council of the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care and chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care.

Plastic Surgery With a Patient Focus

In practice since 2009, Dr. White specializes in facial rejuvenation surgery and noninvasive treatments, cosmetic breast enhancement, and body contouring procedures, such as liposuction, abdominoplasty, and Mommy Makeover surgery. Connecting with her patients and providing personalized patient care are among Dr. White’s top priorities.

Appreciation for Diversity

Dr. White’s travels and education have provided her with an opportunity to experience a variety of cultures and led to her deep appreciation for diversity in all forms. She has a broad perspective concerning the various needs of her patients and works with them to develop the best treatment plans for achieving their goals. She strongly believes that “beauty shouldn’t fit a mold” and there is not just one standard of beauty.

“I do not subscribe to a cookie cutter model of plastic surgery. For some, plastic surgery is about beauty. For me, it’s about strength. When you are comfortable in your own skin, you are empowered.”
