Austin-based fashion Instagrammer Serenity Lange recently underwent breast augmentation here at Synergy. In this Q&A, we ask Serenity to talk about the breast augmentation experience at our Austin practice in her own words. Here’s what she had to say.
Q: What do you wish you would have known prior to your first consultation?
A: Prior to my first consult, I would have loved to know how easy the breast augmentation process was.
Q: What surprised you most about your breast augmentation?
A: How easy it was. Dr. Kerr was so easy to work with, and his staff was so accommodating and willing to listen. I never felt rushed or as though I was just another patient. The entire surgery was only 45 minutes, and it has forever changed my life. Forty-five minutes to change a life — who knew?
Q: What was your deciding factor when choosing a plastic surgeon?
A: Easily, it was Dr. Kerr’s bedside manner, and how professional the entire staff was at Synergy. From the moment I came in for my first consult, to when I broke down in tears because I wasn’t sure I could afford it, to the shrieks of joy when I decided I could, his entire staff was right there with me. He answered every question I asked, and he was always so thorough that I never felt the least bit worried about the result of the procedure.
Q: What questions are you glad you asked during your initial consultation?
A: How the operation would be performed, the length of the surgery, and what a typical recovery is like. I was very fortunate and had very little pain associated with it, and I could not be happier with my results. Dr. Kerr is truly a miracle worker!
Q: Is there anything you wish you would have done in preparation for your surgery?
A: Not at all, I just wish I had done it sooner. It was the best decision I’ve ever made!
Q: What was your recovery like?
A: It was so easy! I was only on pain medication for 2 days post-op. Pain was so minimal. Yes, my movement was slightly restricted at first, but my breasts have fallen into place. They’re beautiful and fantastic, and even better than I could have imagined.
Q: Are you pleased with your results?
A: I am so excited! I am in love with my results! I cannot thank Dr. Kerr enough, he surpassed my expectations. He is just wonderful, and I am so thankful he was my surgeon. I’ve told everyone I know that he is the absolute best!
